Asbestos shingle cleaning

Capital Roof Wash cleaned this asbestos shingle roof for a fraction of the cost of replacement. We understand that these types of shingles are very fragile and we are able to clean them without setting foot on the roof with superb results. With ladders and ladder stabilizers, we eliminate the chances of shingle and gutter damage. Also, we do not use a pressure washer but let our Soft Wash cleaning detergent do the work of killing the algae.

On Asbestos roofs we apply a two coat application, unlike asphalt shingles, that generally takes one Soft Wash application. With our Soft Wash mix, not pressure cleaning, and detergents, we can remove the dark algae and moss and also bring your shingles back to the original color as seen in these “before and after” pictures in this post. FYI: never let a cleaner of asbestos shingles to walk on them. They are brittle and if walked on will break. We have the proper equipment to clean them without touching them!

Thanks guys. It took two applications of our soft wash solution to completely clean this asbestos roof. We even had to come back and spot treat the ridge and hip sections on this one here in Tallahassee. A word to the wise. Price them accordingly!

Surely you have done great job. Asbestos roof is pretty hard to clean and I have personally tried to clean it. I am just surprised you did it without pressure cleaning.
