Roof Cleaning Questions For Everyone ?

Thanks for directing me to this site. Like I informed you I started cleaning roofs on Long Island in N.Y. I have some questions I would like to ask of you and appreciate any help. First is that I am using a 5 gal a min pump to apply my solution and it operates off a 12 volt battery. The spray does not shoot as far as yours does and I was wondering if you could suggest an upgrade, I have seen a photo where you have to set ups with engines. I read your apple sause mix today, I told you that I use bleach, where can I get the sodium hydrochlorite{ ? } and what does TSP stand for. I have gotten roofs clean with just the bleach solution, what will these ingredients do for me? Borax soap, that will flow through the pump ok and kill the algae and Lichen? Here in NY it has been hard to get work, all my jobs have been from flyers in mailboxes. Any ideas how I can increase my work load. Any other suggestions and where I can locate things would be great. Charlie, Hose Diameter and Length is ALL Important with a 12 volt pump.
I suggest at least 5/8 hose, 3/4 even better!
NO more then 200 feet, and better if you can make up TWO 100 foot lengths, and ONLY use the second 100 feet IF needed.

Cut the metal connectors OFF the Garden Hose, and replace wit Heavy Plastic connectors.
A little Teflon Tape will stop leaks.

TSP stands for Tri Sodium Phosphate.

Borax just keeps roofs clean a little longer.

This is my NEW Home, a place I can teach, have fun, and hang out with my friends.
We are REALLY gonna be getting into roof cleaning stuff here, because that is my area of expertise.
