PostSubject: cleaning chemicals   Sat Mar 14, 2009 5:12 am

Hi Everyone. I am a newbie here. I am starting a roof cleaning business in Michigan. I see lots of roofs in my area with stains. I am trying to find if there is something out there that will work like the applesauce mixture,
but without the sodium hypochlorite, TSP,. Where I live, according to my local DEQ, this is a no go.
Any info would be helpful.

Join us over at the RCIA - Roof Cleaning Institute of America

Ranked #1 in the world on google for roof cleaning.

Your local DEQ must not realize that sodium hypochlorite is biodegradable and used in water treatment plants. You must have talked to the wrong person or he has no idea what he is talking about.

You can do without TSP, see the Apple Cider thread.

Without bleach you are basically screwed. You will end up killing yourself or have an extremely difficult time making it or being able to compete in the roof cleaning business.
