Any acid/gas cartridge works.'
But the pre filters prevent large droplets from ruining the expensive filter cartridges.
It isa MY opinion that breathing droplets of the mix is what does your Lungs in by burning them!
The fumes are not good for sure, but the droplets are hell |

| 3M 6009 Filters are the deal! Huge difference from the 6001 filters I was using. I used to get high off the chlorine fumes and come home with a headache. I feel much better today, what a difference. |
