Has anyone every tried this? I was wondering if it would work if you put one after the pump and one b-4 the hose reel? Seems you would get a little more love than with one. I wanted to ask b-4 I waste my time trying it!!

If I were you, I would concentrate on getting more "Love" from your beautiful office manager.
Hey, JUST kidding, I kniw you are married.
She is a credit to your company!

I see where ya are going, create more suction ?
Problem is, the downstream injector LIMITS what the pump sees.

You just need a good chemical pump bro, and it can be used to do roofs with AND apply chems for houses, carpets, etc, etc.

My advice ?
Forget downstream

The only problem I see with a chem pump is that I work by myself a lot. That would mean I would have two hoses to drag around. I hate the fact my chems are so weak from DSing though. I would probably save money on chems too. I have to re-apply quite often.

What surface do you need to re-apply often to?
What kind of detergents do you use with bleach?
What kind of injector are you using?
What kind of gun are you using?
Nozzles?
Is your problem with both your 8 gpm and 5gpm or just one?

Spence, since a downstream injector is FIXED ratio of chemical, why not just make your Chems stronger ?
This is eassy to do with sodium hydroxide, and CAN be done with SHC too.
Call me tomorrow, left phone message ...

The best gun and I mean the BEST, hands down, no comparison is the YRL-50 blue gun. 13gpm with a 13/32" ceramic ball. Draws chemical the best and with the hydraulic action gives it the best feel.

http://www.generalpump.com/PDFs/YRL50-Gun.pdf

http://www.mobicleaninc.com/?mainURL=/store/category/9xuj/Spray_Guns.html

Nozzles should be at least as big as #50 orifice size for the 8gpm.

#30 or #40 for the 5gpm.

Replacement springs for the YRL-50 are hard to find. I found one website that has them.

Part # Y30410851

IMAGINE Mike, being ABLE to downstream roofs ?
Since we cant increase the draw chemical ratio, we will simply make the SHC STRONGER !!!
The Apple Super Sauce shall be born.
I THINK I have it, I really do !!
Now, with ALL this freaking free time, I have time to experiment again !!!
Got word out to roofer friends, GET me some funkky shingles !!!

I shall play, and WHO knows ??

Sounds good. Best draw rate I can get is 20%.

12.5% x .20 = 2.5% Bleach

No luck as of yet with a percentage this weak on shingles for me.

Back in the good 'ol days when sodium hypochlorite was first invented it was made at 21% affraid

THAT'S SOME WICKED SHITE! You could downstream that on a roof at 4.2%

I still would rather clean roofs with the Yamada or the 12V Delavan and a good 5/8" or 3/4" 200psi hose.

Running strong bleach mixtures through hi-pressure hose eats them up, the black rubber in them deteriorates too fast.
