What surface do you need to re-apply often to?
What kind of detergents do you use with bleach?
What kind of injector are you using?
What kind of gun are you using?
Nozzles?
Is your problem with both your 8 gpm and 5gpm or just one?

Mike I get 10.5%sh down here and use a 20% general pump injector

I use a cheap gun, I think it is an Adams 12gpm gun.

I have used simple cherry, powerhouse, simplegreen and now I just use red grapefruit ajax. None really seem to make a difference.

It happens with both my machines. I am getting a good draw and do not dilluet my sh at all in my house wash mix.

I do use a 0030 nozzle.

Has anyone every tried this? I was wondering if it would work if you put one after the pump and one b-4 the hose reel? Seems you would get a little more love than with one. I wanted to ask b-4 I waste my time trying it!!

If I were you, I would concentrate on getting more "Love" from your beautiful office manager.
Hey, JUST kidding, I kniw you are married.
She is a credit to your company!

I see where ya are going, create more suction ?
Problem is, the downstream injector LIMITS what the pump sees.

You just need a good chemical pump bro, and it can be used to do roofs with AND apply chems for houses, carpets, etc, etc.

My advice ?
Forget downstream

The only problem I see with a chem pump is that I work by myself a lot. That would mean I would have two hoses to drag around. I hate the fact my chems are so weak from DSing though. I would probably save money on chems too. I have to re-apply quite often.

Spence, since a downstream injector is FIXED ratio of chemical, why not just make your Chems stronger ?
This is eassy to do with sodium hydroxide, and CAN be done with SHC too.
Call me tomorrow, left phone message ...
Or,, call me tonight ?
Chris

I'll Call you tomorrow!!

Try the YRL-50 gun with the ceramic 13/32" ball. Simple cherry or powerhouse should work better than just dish soap. I like Emulsifier Plus from envirospec.

Use the 0050 nozzle for your 8gpm.

www.pressureparts.com is the only website I have found that sells them.

I like the general 20% hi-draw the best too. With a ceramic ball

Mike, Does the ceramic ball keep you from having to flush it out everytime or is there some other reason like corrosion resistance? What is the reason for the gun?

I still would rather do it with the Yamada or the 12V Delavan and a good 5/8" or 3/4" 200psi hose.

Running strong bleach mixtures through hi-pressure hose eats them up, the black rubber in them deteriorates too fast.

Yeah, it eats rubber .....

The YRL-50 gun has the largest ball, 13/32" is the largest for a 3/8" size gun. It also has the best feel, with the hydraulic action.

The large openings and a larger 0050 nozzle allows for better flow, hence less back pressure, and more chemical draw.

Try it, let me know how it works.

Yes ceramic is corrosion resistant.

The YRL-50 gun comes with a stainless steel ball unfortunately. Bleach will eat it up within a year and it will start to leak like a sithe.

If you decide to try the gun order a 13/32" ceramic ball and a spare spring for backup, see the links above.

Always aggravating not having backups in the field when murphy's law kicks in.

I have gone through so many guns, I finally found one that I can stick with. All you need is spare springs and a ceramic ball.

The ceramic ball outlasts the springs, buy more springs.

Or if the gun still doesn't give you enough draw.

Use pressuretek's heavy duty ball valve with adapters to fit a stainless coupler and #50 nozzles

It's less comfortable, and not as easy to work with, but it will max out your chemical draw.

http://www.pressuretek.com/hedubava.html

Use this one. All the others I've tried are too stiff. This one is the smoothest.

One more thing Spencer, you probably know and use them already but just checking.

The 5-8gpm 2.3 orifice injector works best for 8gpm

and 3-5gpm 2.1 orifice injector works best for 5gpm

That is what I use. Thanks for the info on the gun. The little things like this are what makes the big difference. I do go through a lot of guns.

You don't buy your SH where Apple gets his? He says he gets 12.5%

Don't let him hold out on you, gotst have 12.5%.

That extra 2% will help.

Whats up Spencer? Just to add to all of this. I have been using the same guns that came with the machines I've bought since I bought them. 2 from older machines and 2 from newer.Im sure they are not the most expensive guns. I also use the same ds injector that the machines came with. I believe they are general too. I add a water to my sh but also add alot of Dawn. the Dawn seems to make the sh stick to the surface giving it more time to do it's dance and eat up mold and mildew. I never seem to have a problem doing it with this equipt. However I do notice a slight difference when I use the #30 or #40 verses the regular balck soap tip. The black soap tip seems to pull chems a bit better and soap up more. This could be a part of your problem. Try dumping a bunch of Dawn in your mix. It gives a nice silky feel to the rinse process and pulls down webs and dirt like there is no tomorrow. Hope this helps a little. Love you all, Larry Smile
